Gerd Seber is Group Manager City Logistics and Sustainability at DPD Deutschland GmbH. After studying industrial engineering at the Technical University of Berlin, he held various positions at DHL Worldwide Express GmbH from 1996 before joining DPD in 2004. Here he initially worked with his team on operational issues such as process and route optimisation.
Since 2006 Gerd Seber has been involved in sustainability management at DPD. In the newly created position of Sustainable Development Manager he has been advising the management on sustainability issues since 2011. As Group Manager City Logistics and Sustainability he has been responsible for various interdisciplinary projects at DPD since 2014, with a focus on innovative delivery solutions for the last mile.
