Kathrin Hegger was born in Würzburg on May 30, 1986. After studying business administration with a focus on logistics at the University of Applied Sciences in Würzburg, she spent ten years abroad. During her stay in Shanghai (China), Dubai (UAE) and Modena (Italy), she worked for well-known companies such as Ferrari, Asia Pacific and the logistics company Supreme, which specializes in military logistics solutions.
In June 2019, Kathrin Hegger then returned to the family business Leopold Michel GmbH to take over the company as representative of the fourth generation. With the family as her foundation, she brings her passion, expertise and valuable experience to the further development of the company. Her clear goal is to continue the successful history of the family business and to continue to position it as a leading player in the industry.
Kathrin Hegger is married and the proud mother of two children.
