Torsten Oldhues is Managing Director of HAVI Logistics GmbH, based in Duisburg, responsible for Supply Chain Operations.
After studying mechanical engineering in Dortmund, he began his professional career in 1990 as a project employee at the Vorwerk Group in Wuppertal. In 1995, he took over as Head of Department Factory Layout Planning and Logistics. In 1998, he managed the building construction and start-up of an on-site production facility in Shanghai, China, for two years.
He then moved to WLS GmbH, Duisburg, as Manager Warehouse Development for Germany. WLS GmbH was a predecessor organization of HAVI Logistics GmbH.
On a European level, he managed the Center of Competence Warehousing there for the entire group of companies.
From 2003, as Head of Logistics at AGRAVIS Raiffeisen AG, an agricultural trading and service company based in Münster, he was responsible for strategic and operational group logistics. This included both bulk and classic pallet and parcel logistics.
Since the end of 2013, he has been Managing Director for Operations at HAVI Logistics GmbH in Germany.
Since the beginning of 2021, he has also been responsible for Supply Chain Operations for the Western Europe region within the HAVI Group.
