Ulf Lundqvist joined Westport fuel system October 2019 as Director Business development HD OEM.
Mr. Lundqvist holds a master of science in applied mechanics from the royal institute of technology in Stockholm, KTH.
In 1998 he started his a professional carrier in the automotive industry by joining the truck manufacturer Scania, already then contributing to improve combustion and innovate noval solutions for emission reduction.
Before joining Westport, Mr. Lundqvist spent 20 years at the automotive consulting firm AVL List Gmbh. At AVL he held several positions ranging from project management, combustion specialist, director business development Scandinavia and Global Account Management for one of AVLs most important clients. The contribution from Mr. Lundqvist has always been instrumental for profitable growth.
Over the years, several of Mr. Lundqvist’s innovation has led to patents in the area of efficient and clean combustion engines. In business acquisition Mr. Lundqvist successfully uses his excellent technical knowledge in combustion engine in combination of his understanding of customer needs and economics.
